Yani and I made a solar oven to cook our beans in the winter sun. It took about 20 minutes to make. So very simple, so very easy and so very cheap - a (recycled) cardboard box, some aluminium foil, paper glue and a piece of glass to cover it. We left it in the sun for a few hours and then the hard kidney beans were almost ready.
